Our position
Populy is an entertainment site that measures how liked well-known figures are. It is not a public opinion poll and claims no scientific rigour — a score is what self-selected visitors clicked. We stay neutral: the site never takes a side, never editorialises, and never deliberately stokes hatred, discrimination or conflict — and every comment is moderated. Scores carry no manual weighting, and the calculation is published in full on how scores work. We never manipulate a score, a ranking, or who is listed, and never accept payment to do so.
Who gets listed
Populy lists real public figures and characters from works of fiction. Real children are not listed, except where a minor is a public figure in their own right — a child actor, for example.
Comments
Comments are reviewed before they go public, by an AI model and by human moderation. We remove threats, harassment, discriminatory content, private information, sexual content, unverifiable claims of fact, impersonation and spam, without notice.
Votes
Duplicate votes are blocked at source; scripted voting, IP cycling and organised campaigns are prohibited and, where detected, invalidated.
